Continuing Education Credits

AAP Credits - Accredited ACH Professionals (AAPs) may earn up to 3 continuing education credits for the 2010 TechMecca breakout sessions.  The sessions that will count for AAP credits are:  Federal Reserve Bank Payment Update, International ACH Transactions: Where are We Now?, and Effective ACH Risk Management Strategies.  Visit www.swacha.org or www.nacha.org for more details regarding AAP credits.

 

CPE Credits - IBAT & TCUL are registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the State Registry of CPE Sponsors. The state board of accountancy has final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Tax Deduction

If the purpose of attending TechMecca is to help you maintain or improve skills relating to employment or business, expenses relating to the conference may be tax deductible according to I.R.C. Reg 1.162-5.  Consult your tax advisor.

 

Airport Shuttle Service

SuperShuttle provides shuttle service for guests of Renaissance Austin Hotel.

  • Shared Ride Shuttles:  One way @ $19 per person or Round Trip @ $34 per person
  • Follow signs from baggage claim to the SuperShuttle ticket counter which is manned 24/7 located near baggage carousel 1 and purchase your ticket:  no reservation is needed.
  • Schedule your return shuttle reservation while at the ticket counter or later by calling 512-BLUE-VAN (512-258-3826); 24-hours advance notice is recommended.
  • You can pay with cash or any major credit card.  Service is available 24-hours a day.
  • You can also make prepaid reservations online at www.supershuttle.com
  • NOTE:  Private Van Charter Service is also available and can take your group to points around the greater Austin area in 10-passenger vans for $45 per fan per hour + 18% driver gratuity (2 hour minimun).

Taxi Cabs

If you wish to take a cab from the airport, estimate $45 one way with an approximate 30 minute drive to the airport.  Cab lines may be found as indicated by signage outside the baggage claim area.

Dress

Dress for all of the TechMecca events is business casual.

Grand Prize Drawing

One lucky participant at TechMecca will receive $1,000!  The Grand Prize Drawing will be held Tuesday immediately following the closing session.  Attendees must be present to win.  Only financial instituion attendees are eligible.
